   Stephan Greving and his team are amazing. I don’t think of myself as being photogenic, but they did a great job of capturing me. I especially liked seeing my pictures on the computer before the end of the sitting. That way, I knew how I looked before the sitting ended. Stephan would let me change my pose or hair or make-up if I didn’t like what I looked like.

   I get very nervous in front of the camera. Stephan and JT talked with me and made me feel comfortable. But I think the thing that made me feel most comfortable was being able to see what the shots looked like on the computer screen. We took a break midway through the shoot and when I saw how amazing they looked I knew that I didn’t need to worry.

   They also did a great job retouching the photos.

   Stephan and his team made me feel so comfortable and for a young woman in NYC that means a lot. Stephan shot me just before the Thanksgiving holiday and he was so speedy with getting everything done. I didn’t expect that but it was greatly appreciated. I loved looking at the pics while we were shooting, what a fantistic idea. We were having such a good time that the shoot just flew by and boy, did we laugh! Getting headshots is such a stressfull experience but Stephan and his team really just listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted. This is how you go about running a business. I’m telling all of my friends about this and wish him all the luck in the world.

   Having a photography session with Steven Greving is like eating ice cream in your pajamas, that is just how comfortable he makes you feel. The relaxed atmosphere, coupled with Steven’s great ability to capture subtle moments with his camera, makes for stunning, organic photographs that fully represent who you are both as a person and a performer.

   Going in, I had no idea what I was doing, but Stephan definitely made it easier than I thought it would be. He made me feel relaxed and comfortable at all times. He never was in a rush and took his time with every shot. That, to me, showed dedication in his work and it obviously paid off because the pictures came out great.

   My time at Stephan’s studio was great fun! I was relaxed and feeling as if I was in charge of my sitting. Stephan was sure to make my intentions and feelings direct how the hours went and surely took great pains to recongnize what brought out the sparkle in my eye. We laughed a lot, and I felt free to express my needs in this open and creative environment.

   I must say: Bravo! I had never met Stephan and his colleague JT before the sitting, but who could tell. They were very friendly and relaxed, and they treated me like the model. It was like hanging with my friends, but the photos were like art.

   I have never been photogenic before… it´s a good feeling!

   I have been a working actor in New York for 30 years and shot with most of New York “top” photographers. The quality of Stephan’s work and the consideration and professionalism that he brought to our shoot rivaled (and outshined) any experience I have had to date on a set. Bravo to Stephan, JT, and Lauren (make-up). Thank you for making a very challenging shoot (six characters in full make-up and costume for my one man show) an ease and delight.

    Having head shots taken can be a stressful endeavor. In my experience
    with a few NYC photographers I remember feeling like I was going to
    the dentist for root canal. And I recall one shoot where I would have
    RATHER had root canal, believe me!

    Stephan has the ability to make even the most anxious person feel
    completely at ease before, during and after the shoot. He photographs
    the person, not what he thinks you should look like or who he thinks
    you should be. He photographs YOU, and what comes across is genuine
    and real. With Stephan on the other side of the camera I felt
    confident I would get the shots I wanted because he made me feel
    confident during the shoot. His laid back, creative style and
    individualized work encompasses everything you could want in a
    photographer. Integrity, talent and deep care for making sure you are
    not only happy with the product, but motivated by the entire
    experience and ready to take your head shot into any audition and show
    them what you got!

    It has literally been years since I have sat for headshots and I entered the experience with great trepidation. Stephan Greving’s professional attitude combined with his relaxed & reassuring approach allayed my fears in a matter of minutes. Stephan’s willingness to listen, not just hear, what I needed along with his insights & suggestions made the process extremely positive.
    The final product in which I am quite pleased was just icing on a very pleasant overall experience. Stephan’s talents & demeanor have not only provided me with fine headshots but a boost of self confidence & calm that was greatly unexpected and even more appreciated.

    When i came in to day of the Headshot shooting to meet Stephen and his team, I never knew what I was going to do. I never had taken a headshot before so i was a beginner. Stephen trully understand how a person feels when its their first time getting a headshot.
    For the first shooting outfit, i was just standing and Stephen knew i was very stiff. So i didn’t know what to do while taking pictures but then when second and third, i found my confidence in me from him was just to be myself. It felt a friend was taking pictures of me and not just trying to get a perfect headshot to impress people. Besides headshots, we were having so much fun chatting and listen to music at the same time. Music helps during shooting when stephen puts it on but if have something u like, he will give it to you
    From the final product, i was soooo impressed how they turned out that i had a hard time picking the three photos that i want to share. never in my life liked myself in pictures until the headshot shoot began I felt so sad because they were so good and wanted to thank so much for Stephen for all that help. He was not just some photographer but a real humen being that you can a great time talking with while at the shoot. I felt i didn’t want to leave because him and his team had a blast. I recommend to any headshot beginners to take with Stephen and help you find yourself while the camera is flashing
